Allow calls from saved contacts

By default, Mr. Number does not block calls from numbers saved in your contacts. If calls from saved contacts are being blocked, the steps below can help.

Android

1. Open Mr. Number and tap the Block List tab.
2. Turn on the Allow contacts through toggle.

If contacts are still being blocked, go to Settings and check the Calls from saved contacts setting. Set it to Do nothing. Then turn Allow contacts through off and back on.

If the issue continues, uninstall and reinstall Mr. Number, then repeat the steps above.

iPhone

1. Open Mr. Number and tap the Blocking tab.
2. Tap Block List.
3. Review any prefix entries you've added under the Prefix Blocking segment. Remove any prefix that overlaps with a contact's number, then re-add it after granting contacts access.

After making changes, do not close the app right away. Mr. Number needs to complete a call list update before the change takes effect.

If a contact's calls are still being blocked after these steps, make sure the contact's number is saved exactly as it appears on incoming calls (including the area code).
